the beach location, pool, and food at this resort were phenomenal. the staff was attentive and the eco-friendly atmosphere was a bonus. the dolphin tour was a must-do, and the resort offered beautiful rooms and great amenities. all in all, an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely lovely, with a charming touch of traditional Sri Lankan elements. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate around. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor. It was a peaceful and serene environment that truly allowed for relaxation.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and proactive in assisting us. I understand that they were busy, but a little more help and attention would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

We loved the location of this resort. Being right on the beach with no immediate neighboring properties made it feel like a private paradise. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor bathroom.

The food service. We often waited a long time for our meals and sometimes had to go get things ourselves.

Had an Easter stay at this resort and it was just average. However, the beach was nice and the pool was relaxing with a stunning backdrop. Another plus was that the food was made to order and was edible.

The hotel was not worth the money and the properties shown on the website are quite misleading. The interior was not well-lit and the accommodation was basic overall without much comfort. The dining options were nothing out of the ordinary and the hotel was quite remote, with not much to do around. All in all, not a great stay.

The villas at Bar Reef Resort were an absolute paradise! The rooms were cozy and had all the thoughtful touches like comfy bathrobes and slippers. The sitting areas were perfect for relaxing, and the coffee makers made mornings even better. As someone who loves being in touch with nature, I couldn't have asked for more.

Although the private verandahs were lovely, I personally found the waterfall showers a bit overwhelming. But hey, that's just my opinion!
